Ministry of Education for Sustainable Partnership

“CMB” Training Center participated in a meeting at the invitation of the Vice-Minister, Loretta Handrabura, on April 5th, 2011. The meeting gathered together representatives of the civil society organizations implementing projects for the vocational education and higher education sectors.

Given that any sustainable initiative can be implemented in partnership and based on a needs assessment, the Ministry of Education showed its interest in establishing a constructive collaboration between its educational partners.

Thus, during the meeting, representatives of the Ministry shared their priorities set in the Consolidated Strategy for Educational Sector Development for years 2011- 2015, as well as it Action Plan for 2011. Ministry’s call is to have NGOs identify the components/areas that they can contribute to in the upcoming years. Representatives of the Ministry of Education believe that only with joined efforts, implementation of reforms in education can be more effective, and duplication of efforts can be avoided.
