Nicu Cretu

Mr. Nicu Cretu is the Program Director in Consultancy in Management & Leadership with “CMB” Training Center, and he is also a Director of “Innovative Solutions” LTD.

His first degree is in Philosophy, with the State University of Moldova and he also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Management with the Leeds Metropolitan University, UK.

He is an international expert for the Open Society Institute, Critical Thinking Program and in this capacity conducted work in Liberia (West Africa), Mongolia and Nepal.

Mr. Cretu has a rich previous working experience as RWCT Program Director and Education Programs Director with Moldova Soros Foundation, Pro-Didactica Educational Center, Moldova Medical Foundation and International Development Partnership.

He also has experience in conducting Trainer of Trainers programs at national and international level. Mr. Cretu has provided training and consultancy programs for organizations in Moldova and from abroad: OSI, UNDP, Moldova Soros Foundation, Moldova Medical Foundation, KulturKontact – Austria, World Bank, SIEDO, Step by Step, AED, Amicii de Bambini, Mongolian Education Alliance and many others.

Mr. Cretu’s current areas of expertise include: Critical Thinking Theories, Project Management and Project Evaluation, Adult Education (TOT), Communities of Practice, Organizational Development, Leadership and community development.
